Minister Litzman inaugurates Ziv Synagogue

A new synagogue, built with hospital funds for the benefit of the patients and their families at the Ziv Medical Center, was inaugurated on the eve of Rosh Hashanna. Present at the inauguration were Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, Director of the Ziv Medical Center, Dr. Salman Zarka and Zefat Mayor, Mr. Ilan Shohat. Health Minister Yaakov Litzman praised the good work being done at Ziv Medical Center for the development and promotion of good health in the north.

"Ziv Medical Center is very important to me; the excellent work and positive results I see here encourage me to continue our support for the further development of the Center and to show what great things can be done in the outlying areas. What has already been accomplished belongs to the past - it is necessary to carry on planning for the future. The hospital needs an Oncology Ward and the PET CT Institute must be completed."

Minister Litzman concluded with good wishes for all for the coming year.
