Omega 3 (fish oil) reduces symptoms of attention deficit disorder in children

A study conducted at the Ziv Medical Center in Safed found that taking omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) and vitamin E increases the levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the blood and reduces the severity of the symptoms of ADHD in children.

The research was initiated by Dr. Ayelet Omer-Armon, a researcher at the Ziv Research Laboratory, in cooperation with Dr. Uri Yatzker, Director of Ziv's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department.
