The first katyusha rocket fell on Zefat on Thursday, July 12, 2006.
By the ceasefire date, our emergency room and trauma center had treated
687 civilian victims and
820 IDF soldiers. 413 were hospitalized.
This total of 1,507 casualties treated was more than that of any two
medical centers in the north of Israel COMBINED.
